2 Free Digital Learning Resources

I don’t know about you but our district was thrown for a loop when we were told we were going to be closed until March 31st due to the pandemic we as a world are facing. Due to Covid-19 & digital learning educators from all over the world seemed to be scrambling to get things together for their kiddos.

My coworkers and I spent a good portion of two days trying to pull resources and get our students ready for their e-learning adventures. Little did we know that just five days later, our we found out that our district would be closed until the end of April. I think this will go on a bit further than April though.

I miss my students and want to provide quality content to them while we are apart. As I continue to try to navigate this whole new e-learning or distance learning environment, I wanted to share two FREE resources with you that I’ve created.

2nd & 3rd Grade Digital Learning Resource

The first resource is for 2nd and 3rd graders and it’s a math resource! I created these Adding and Subtracting Digital Learning Task Cards that work perfectly in Google Classroom. Actually, I’ll be honest, they were created for Google Classroom. These Digital Learning Task Cards are sure to meet all areas of basic addition and subtraction as well as higher level addition and subtraction.

How does this work? Students will answer questions on each task slide. There are three multiple choice answer options per math problem on each slide. Once they’ve solved the problem, they will drag the answer into the answer bank. There is an area on each slide where students can type out their thought process and how they came to the conclusion that they did.

4th & 5th Grade

Digital Learning Resource

The second digital learning resource I created is geared towards 4th and 5th graders, but can be applied to challenge students who are in third grade.

I absolutely LOVE this distance learning writing sample packet and your kids will also!

If you a parent or a teacher looking for ways to help your child or student review content throughout the year, then his FREE Distance Learning Writing Sample Week Resource is going to be perfect for you!

This FREE Distance Learning Writing Sample Week Resource includes:

  • A day by day breakdown of grammar review
  • 5 “What’s Going On Here” Photos where students must analyze the picture and write about it
  • A review of grammar concepts: sentence structure, contractions, singular & plural words, antonym, synonym, types of sentences, syllables, reference types, and more!

Students should be familiar with knowing how to create a text box in google slides.

Both of these are FREEBIES that I am offering to you!

If you’d like to subscribe to my newsletter I would be more than happy to send these on over to you!
