You may ask why I am blogging about Teachers Pay Teachers. Well to be honest, Teachers Pay Teachers; or TpT for those of us in the teaching community has absolutley changed my life! You may have seen my store on Teachers Pay Teachers- The Weekend Teacher. I”ve been a seller on this site now for over two years now and LOVE the the opportunities it’s allowed me to have.
I’ve been able to reach educators from not just my school building or even hometown, but to so many from all around the world! Teachers Pay Teachers has allowed me to use the creativity that I have and bring forth resources to share with others who are looking for those same resources!
One of my top selling resources are my Classroom Checklists! I am all about staying organized and on top of things and these checklists have provided for just that. When grading student work, collecting student work, or just needing a quick student list, these classroom checklists come to the rescue!
Make sure you grab yourself a set to stay on top of your classroom organization!
My Why
Khrystina, Where did you get that resource from? Whose TpT store did you download that at? These were a lot of the questions I would receive. About 95% of the time I would tell them that it was my own resource. I felt that there was probably a need for sharing these resources with other teachers, and that’s how my TpT journey began. At first I was a bit hesitant, but overall, I am so happy that I took that leap of faith.
How To Get Started
Don’t be afraid to just jump right in!
If you are thinking about it but aren’t sure where to start I would highly suggest starting at the wonderful and fabulous Kayse Morris from Teaching on Less. I’d already been selling on TpT before I came across Kayse, but this would be an excellent place to start!
